Birthday Boy

Saturday was Colton's 3rd birthday. We celebrated at our house with both of our families and had lots of fun!

 He got TONS of fun presents and has been busy playing with them this week!

I think the big boys were excited for new toys too...

After presents came cake and ice cream...and a little boy that HATES when people sing happy birthday- especially to him!  You would think he would have grown out of this by now but he still hates it with a passion. Or maybe it is just our singing? :)

Lastly, we had a baseball pinata to go with our theme. We weren't sure where to hang it around the house without breaking something so it worked to just put it on the floor and let them have a hack at it...

 

Thank you to everyone for coming, bringing gifts and sharing this special night with us! The past 3 years have gone by so fast, we can't wait for many more!

Yum, Yum!

On pinterest I found a recipe for smoothies that Colton and I tried out last night with our new magic bullet.  Which, by the way, is SUPER easy to use!

We just threw in some sliced strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and a sliced banana. Then mixed in vanilla yogurt and some milk.  Whizzzz them up and you have a super treat! It doesn't matter if you use fresh or frozen fruit, so I went with the frozen that would keep longer.

 He LOVED them so much that when we walked in the door from daycare tonight, he went straight to the freezer and wanted to make one for supper :)
