Our week...

 Mike has been on vacation this past week and I have been as well except for Tuesday and Wednesday.  Colton has been having lots of fun hanging out with Mommy and Daddy all week. 

 Monday we filled his pool up and hung outside all day. He is really starting to love being in the water and splashing around. 

Tuesday Mike and Colton went golfing. When Mike told me they were going golfing, I was curious to hear how it would turn out with a little boy that loves to run and run and a huge, open course! Mike was excited to say that Colton really liked riding around on the cart and had fun with his mini golf set.  He is getting pretty good at hitting the ball! Looks like there is  a new hobby they 2 can enjoy together :)

Wednesday Colton hung out his babysitter's house while Mike helped his brother move home from Ames and I worked.  Then we headed to Mike's baseball game last night.  Colton really loves going to the games- as we were ready to walk out the door I asked him if he wanted to go to the baseball game and  his reply was- GO DAAADDY!!! I think that was a yes :)

Past few weekends

Last Saturday we went to Adventureland with Mike's family.  We spent the night in Ankeny with Mike's sister and brother in-law and their little girl- Kendall.  Colton LOVED holding her and didn't want to give her up.  Here are a few pictures of him holding her...

This past weekend Mike and I headed to Madison, WI for Mike's friend's wedding while Colton headed to Grandma and Grandpa Schneider's house.  It was a long trip up there- 7 1/2 hrs- but we had a ton of fun and appreciate everyone helping out w/Colton! :)

Daddy had a baseball game tonight and guess what he forgot....

Colton was happy to bring it to him! :)

Happy 4th! :)

We had a great 4th of July weekend! We started off Saturday with Mike's family.  We were at his Grandparent's farm for lots of good food with lots of his family.  Colton loved running around everywhere and was tuckered out by the time we had to leave to head to Indianola. 

We went to my aunt Marla's house for a 4th of July party there Saturday night. There was more good food, water balloon fights and fireworks! Colton loved the fireworks!!

Mike, Colton, and I, along with my parents, headed back to Portsmouth.  We were supposed to head to Mike's baseball game but it was rained out, so we headed to Council Bluffs shopping. 

Monday we went to the Omaha zoo. It is such a nice zoo....we had lots of fun and Colton didn't know what to think of all the animals. I think his favorite would have to be the monkeys- we saw tons of those!! Hope everyone else had a great long weekend :)
